Just an extra question What if I got the rights to the Assassin's Creed game franchise, how would that work? Can I adapt one of the games? Such as Brotherhood? or do I adapt the franchise loosely? Like the actual movie did.
Also is it possible to make animated movies? Such as traditional animation, CG animation, stop-motion animation etc.
How would acquiring certain movies/studios work. For example can I buy the whole of Pixar and make sequels or prequels or create movies using their staff?

Both I guess? All games are included in the franchise, so you can adapt each one of them. If you want a loose adaption you could, for example, pick the first game and create a Spin-Off.
Kinda? Not in-depth, but there is a voice-over options for roles, so creating a movie with only voice-over roles would be considered a animation movie.
You can't acquire other studios, only their franchises.

About the third question. How would that work? Are all of Pixar's movies split into franchises? Like Toy Story and Cars? What about the one off movies such as Coco?

Also, how would someone go by making a Star Wars movie about for example Ahsoka Tano? Would that be an option when making a Star Wars movie? Would there be a list of characters you could choose from to be the main character and also be in the movie?

Would there be a list of characters you could choose from to be the main character and also be in the movie? That's a character from one of the animated shows, right? Well as long as this piece of work is included in the database, you can use it as a base for a new movie. The character will show up in the role list and you can change her status to main character. Of course if you want a character that's not in the database you can always add him/her in the script menu.

So what have you been working on?

I'm still working on the database. There is no point in balancing the game before the database is done, because the size of the database plays a role in calculating the dynamic stats. It's steady, but slow progress (especially because I have been working a lot). I also added a tiny, but neat new feature someone (don't remember who) asked about: Name Lists are now separated by race. So newly generated asian or hispanic people will now have fitting last names.

Would it be possible to add cheats into the game? For example, a cheat that could give you money?

Jep! Any other cheats you have in mind? A cheat that lets you instantly bankrupt another company maybe.

I was wondering how you could release a movie/tv show post release. As in after it debuts in theaters/aired on TV, would you be able to release movies/tv shows on DVD/Blu-Ray? Also sell it on streaming, or put it on a streaming service such as Netflix. Also the rights to show it on TV.

Question, will it be possible to make crossovers? Like choosing stuff from multiple sources material and putting them in one movie?
