Firstly, I would like to say thank you for making this game. Although there are several games about making movies, I think this one is going to be the best due to all those features which you have added. In addition, I just wanted to see option that I can make contracts with actors/actresses using them whenever I want to shoot movies as well as training them for increasing particular skills. Hope you will like these idea and I really appreciate that have chances to share my opinions. Wish you all the best in your progress. I am very much looking forward to play

Already implemented! You can read more about it and Franchises in general here: filmstudiotycoon.blogspot.de/2017/09/feature-spotlight-franchises.htmlI know it used to be very common in Hollywood, but is it still? I'm not sure. Another thing: It wouldn't make much sense at the moment, because right now all the actors are available almost at all times. They are only busy if they are shooting one of your own movies, not in AI produced movies. I struggled with that decision for a while. It basically came down to realism vs. fun. It's more realistic that certain actors might not be available at certain times, but it's more fun to get together your dream cast. I went with the fun option for now, but I'm optimistic that I'll add the other option later on.

- Relationship between the studios and the talent - Favors (If u give an Actor chance to direct or produce he could pitch his movie or star in your movie)

Firstly...thank you for doing this. I absolutely loved HMS, but it had some kinks to iron out, seems to me, like you're going in the generally right direction.
Here's my thoughts and ideas.
First off, I am a big fan of HMS' feature of Talent rejecting your advances to work at a Film/Show. It veers away of just Fantasy-Casting, and I liked that. Maybe you could have an option to turn Fantasy-Casting on, but I feel the game would mostly benefit from that option. Make it that scheduling can come into play, and also personal prefences of the Talent. She/He might not like appearing in a particular Genre, or the Screenplay is below their standarts. Maybe they just don't like another Talent you casted. I can't emphasize enough how I feel like, at least the option, is needed.
Next some random points:
- Going hand in hand with my aforementioned point, would be this next idea. When you aquire the rights to adapt someones work, there should be Random-Events from time to time. Some A-List Talent might be a huge Fan of some Comic-Book, and wants to be involved in it's production in any way. This would include Actors, Directors or Producers who would usually decline working below a certain-level of script-quality, taking part at these adaptations. For example, you aquire the Rights to Stephen King book, "The Long Walk". You keep it all pretty cheap, and since it's a Low-Profile Production, usually a lot of stars don't care a lot for it, but it turns out Brad Pitt is a huge Fan of the source-material, and would like to appear in the movie. This would give you the possibility of occasionally hiring Talent for less than their usual rate. There would be some pitfalls to this, the talent that is interested might not be the best suited to be in the role, but their stardom would definitiley draw in more viewers. Of course that means the risk of being destroyed by critics if it doens't work out.
- Some Stars like to work with their friends (Adam Sandler or Kevin Smith come to mind), so maybe have them asking for roles or Jobs for their friends. For Example, Sandler might be the, by far, the biggest star interested in Starring in your movie/show, but he asks you give Rob Schneider a small role. Also people like Tom Cruise or Will Smith bring their own screenwriters to rewrite scripts a little bit. Here this could result in the Script-Quality actually changing through this, as some scripts might Benefit from those changes, some might not.
- This one is a little bit more out there. Have the possibility of indicating if a certain Talent might be known for something else, i.e. Music or Sports. If so, give this a secondary populariy rating. This would be used for cases like Ray Allen in "He Got Game" or anything with Shaquille O'Neal or Steve Austin. They might be very popular in their respective fields, but as actors (or directors/producers/screenwriters for that matter) they don't have very much experience. So this would be another case of getting to cast big names, for less money, but clearly a lot of less acting-talent or experience.
- I really feel Martial Arts should count as it's own Genre, not be lumped in with Action. Stallone or Schwarzenegger might still be able to pull of decent Action-Flicks, but they could not pull of a Jackie Chan-esque Martial Arts film. Same goes for Directing or Producing. Two very different beasts.
- Since you included ethnicities, you should really include Arabic/or Middle Eastern.
- As for Franchises, I don't know if you included it, but if you plan on making a Franchise, the game should let me use different characters from different movies within this Franchise. So you have already made a trilogy and a Spin-Off, from characters in the 3rd Film. You wish to make a Spin-off of another Character coming from that first Spin-Off, now the game should really give me an easy option to chose any character within that Franchise to cameo or star in this second Spin-Off. obviously letting you know if there are any scheduling issues or if the Talent that was casted first time around is still interested in playing this character.
This would be it, for now, I hope this helps a little bit. I will definitely buy this game, as soon as you say it's ready.

I agree. I think this will be one of the feature I will takle soon. Most of what I need coding-wise is already there, I just need to put it all together. I think I will make it optional though. This would be possible as an random events. I already have a general "Fame" rating, so it's totally possible to have musician/athletes/etc. with a high fame rating but low stats in everything else. I feel differently. martial Arts is a Sub-Genre of Action right now. Main Genres are really broad categories used to calculate the success of a movie. Martial Arts Movies and other action movies would pretty much have the same algorithm, so it doesn't make sense to separate them. I made a bold choice and did not include Producers in the game. As a player you control pretty much every aspect of the production so in a sense you are the producer. This might change... but right now, that's the way it is. There are a lot of ethnic groups. I have to draw the line somewhere, so I went with the major American races (Caucasian, African American, Hispanic and Asian) plus "People of Color" (tumblr tells me that's the most pc term) that includes every non-white person. Yeah, that but be nice. Coding that shouldn't be to hard, but I would have to find a way to integrate it into the UI. I don't need the money, this is a passion project, so the game is going to be for free.

Cool. I was sure I've read you preferred the Fantasy-Booking version. Glad to read, the version I would prefer is in development too. I get your point. Still, I feel that if you take any Martial-Arts Star (Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Donnie Yen etc.) and put them in an Action (i.e. Bullets and Explosions) they will still work out greatly. The other way around it won't be. In all the "Movie-Tycoon" games I played this Issue has never been adressed. Maybe, instead of having an entirely separated genre, there could be an option to choose between Quick-Cuts, Normal Cuts and One-Take Fight Scenes. Quick-Cuts giving you the ability to basically give anybody a fighting scene (think John Cera in Scott Pilgrim or Liam Neeson in basically every other movie he made after Taken). Normal Cuts, for anybody that could convincingly do a Brawl and One-Take for people that have a high rating (some kind of MA-Rating. Maybe even have the possibility to make the Stars train for said scenes if their rating is below the one required for the type of action scenes you intend to film. Into the Badlands had basically the entire cast training, so did Matrix.), and can do Martial Arts scenes, looking like they know what they´re doing. Just an Idea, to accurately do any Kind of Martial Arts movie. I know this would probably be a huge change, maybe consider it for a future update. I so feel you on this one. As a player, you basically are the Producer/Showrunner. What about writers? Will they finally get the spotlight they deserve? I actually mean, just getting a profile with a pic, like actors and directors, would be enough. While I agree, that you can't include every single ethnicity, I feel strong about this one (even though as hispanic, my ethnicity is included). Look at basically every Warmovie made in the last yearS. If I wanted to make a movie about Afghanista or Iraq, it would be very hard to comb through all the other poc's, to get to some arabic looking ones. I think I love you. If you are a woman, you should marry me! Just to clarify, all my responses are just what I would like to see in the game. In the end, you may have a different vision for the game than I would, so feel free to ignore anything I suggested.

Dynamic Database(Cloud Database) - if any of the users update the actors/source database other users get to download that via the game. For example Sports game have some built in community where they can downloadother player created players and teams.
This maybe a feature you can look in future iterations.

Well, do you have a ring? It is and as the code get's more and more complex, changing things get's more and more complicated. I just started learning how to code a couple of months ago, this is my first project and I don't want to push past my limits. This subject is obviously something close to your heart and you put a lot of thought into it, but I need to keep the bigger picture in mind. Does this answer your question? I use Sqlite as a Database. I think theoretically it still should be possible to share Database-Files (by converting them into a excel table and then feeding them back into the database). Sharing database files is very high on my priority list, but I don't really feel equipped to include something like a cloud database.

Not yet, should I get one, and start to plan my relocation? I get that. It was just my idea and thoughts on how different those genres are, and a very simplistic way to incorporate said difference. This does not mean that the game would be broken, if you don't incorporate it. yes it does! And it does so greatly!

Another way to make money can be to sell movie rights to networks.
