Re-uploaded a newer version of the editor. Paulvine, can you tell me if you are still having issue with the roles? I can't find my entries in the new version. Does it mean I need to add them again?

No, you don't. I'll merge all the data I want in the game later, but I'll have to fix your duplicates first. If you want to keep editing your own database you can just replace the one the editor comes with (/AppData/LocalLow/Atomic Games/Film Studio Tycoon) with your own file (the one you sent me).

Would it be possible to get a Blank-Version of the Database for the Editor?
Also another question. You once stated that it wouldn't be good to have the Talent-Database too large. I was wondering, how exactly that will affect the game. In these kind of games I usually add a lot of talent. So I wondered how that would affect my gameplay.

Sure, I can have one ready by tomorrow. Actually, for those who want to contribute to the source database an empty version would make the merging of the data sets so much easier for me.
Good that you ask. I implemented a safety net in the code. The game will add or remove skill points randomly (only a small amount per person, so it doesn't become jarring) to keep the stats balanced. I have not tested the limitations of that, but it should keep the database somewhat stable, even if you add a bunch of people.

I think I found the bug that was causing duplicate topics and roles for some people. I believe it was caused by saving changes multiple times without hitting the reload database button in between. The database now reloads automatically every time you add or save something. This should prevent this bug. Updated version is in the opening post.

Empty database doesn't work. When I try to add a novel, nothing happens. Is it only me?

Empty database doesn't work. When I try to add a novel, nothing happens. Is it only me? Strange. I will check it out tomorrow. Edit: I think I found the problem (The missing "None" franchise). Fixed empty database is linked in the opening post.
