Ok, Guys, let's give this a try.
I uploaded the Project File with only the Editor enabled for those of you who want to play around with the database.
If you actually want to contribute to the game you can add things sources and franchises (I especially need people familiar with Marvel and DC stuff) and I will put it in the database that will come with the final game.
For everything else I will stick to my own database for balancing reasons. Of course you can still edit everything else for you personal use or to share your version with others, put keep in mind that the more you add/change the more likely it is, that the game will become unbalanced.
Update:
Here is the newest version of the Editor (February 16th 2020):
www.mediafire.com/file/yg9xjepj2g6fi7s/FilmStudioTycoon_Editor.7z/file
Update 2:
If you want to contribute to the final Database, add your entries, then send your database file back to me:
The database is stored /AppData/LocalLow/Atomic Games/Film Studio Tycoon .
(The AppData folder is usually invisible, so it can be tricky to get there. On Windows 10 you can type in %AppData% in the little searchbar in the left corner.)
Copy the file called "Database.bytes" and send it to me. Just keep in mind that I might change some of the data you created for balancing reasons before it goes into the final database. Don't be upset about that.
If possible, use an empty database version to add your entries. You can find it here:
www.mediafire.com/file/prqwu9xxogu4c4d/Database_empty.bytes/file
(Download this version -> replace the old version with the empty version -> add your entries -> send this modified database to me.)
Update 3:
You might find a couple of dead people in the database, but keep in mind that the game starts in January 2017. These people died afterwards, that's why they are still there. (There are also some romantic relationships in the database that have ended already, but since these people were still a couple in 2017 that's how they appear in the game).
