I press new game, nothing happens and is that actually a game because only editor works or it is just the editor file. Dude, you found this link in a thread called "Editor" and downloaded a file called "FilmStudioTycoon_Editor" ... yeah, it's just the editor.

It is a Windows 10 but I reset the pc and now it seems that many windows functions don't work . Anyway with the new version there isn't the possibility to change to 720x400 but now I can see all the editor . I want to contribute to the database.

You should look into it. I'm not an expert on windows operating systems, but I really don't see how resetting a pc is going to make basic configurations like changing screen resolution unavailable. Maybe the controls have changed with a update and now you can't find them?
I'm not sure how we fixed that... but woohoo!
Check the opening post!

Amazing stuff! A lot of depth and work already gone into the database. Love how the franchise parts work.

The person who did the reset to my pc did a bad job so now there is written "Active Windows" and some functions of pc don't work . I find some errors in the editor: I don't succed to add a my film\franchising the new database hasn't topics so i can not add them to a film I can't change the value "comedy" I can't add characters and the menù of "importance" does not disappear Another value of Dialogue and Pace is present under "Importance"

Right... I didn't think about that. I think it would be best, if you guys would just use the original database to add your entries. I means more work for me, but that's alright.
All of these problems are caused, because your view is still messed up. You're displaying several menus on top of each other. Like I said, it has to be 16:9, otherwise it won't work. Now, you said you can't pick the 720x400 resolution when you start the game. What resolution can you pick when you activate the "Windowed" Checkbox?

I'm not talking about your own screens resolution. When you start the game there should be a box popping up that look's something like this. In the first drop-down Menu you can pick a screen resolution for the game. 1024x768 can't be there, because I disabled that.

A few questions, before I sink hours upon hours into this database, and have to change it later.
1. If I don't "activate" one of the "Actor/Director/Writer"-Boxes, will that Talent never attempt anything in that area? Or is this just the starting-configuration? Example: Actor Box is active, will that actor at some point attempt to direct/write something? If they do, but I have their settings for directing and/or writing all set to 1, will those values generate randomly?
2. I´m guessing when editing/creating a person, the stats on the left are for acting, the ones in the middle for directing and the ones on the right are for writing, am I right?
Also, and by no means I want you to take this as me bashing your hard work, but I think the should be a Plot-Sinopsis, possibly even a description of the roles. But that is just my personal view, to make it easier for people that don't know every single movie in existence by heart, to know what they are casting for.
Aside of that, I really, really like what I'm seeing.

Yeah, it's the starting configuration. That can change during gameplay and yes, the stats will then be generated randomly (not completely random, some things will depend on the stats they already have).
Oh, I never labeled that? But yes, from left to right acting, directing, writing.
Not a fan of "free written" synopsis, but I kinda see your point. It's not that hard to implement, but the thing is... if I do that for player created stuff I need a way to generate that for ai created things as well, otherwise it would look weird. You would have a designated UI Element for descriptions and 95% of the moves won't have one. I could see auto-generated description based on the movies stats. Something like "A fast-paced adventure about scientists and killer animals set in the near future in South America" or "A complex drama about homosexuality and suicide set in 1980s New York" for ai generated movies, but with the option to customize that description for player created movies.
