Because I love to see what you guys do with the game I decided to hold a little competition for an extra motivation boost. I will pick the three best entries and the winners will get access to the update a week before everyone else (But beware! That means you will have to find all the bugs). To participate you need to show off at least one movie you made in the game in detail (including a custom poster). If you feel like it you can of course also do a series or a franchise.
Winners:
ericbomfim - Don't Tell Them You Can See This
alexbk - Black Friday
spacekid - The Disaster Dinner
I'll send the winners a private message with the link for the tv show update, if everything goes according to plan by the end of April/early May. The rest of you guys will get it a week later, so don't be upset if you didn't win.
Great contributions everybody. I really enjoyed reading them and the choice was super hard. If you like sharing these kind of things head over to the After Action Report subforum and share your playthroughs!

lowkey wish this was a real movie LOL agreed I also wish it were real. Because no science fiction movie would ever be nominated for an Oscar and win so many categories in this game. And with critical and public acclaim, it would do much more at the box office. balloony!

And with critical and public acclaim, it would do much more at the box office. balloony! To be completely fair, I’ve had a few titles like this myself that have done well in the awards. Most likely, the player didn’t spend a whole lot on marketing— because most of those billion dollar scifi flicks spend hundreds of millions on production and marketing (they were able to make that one on a $80 million budget) I think you’d be suprised by how capable this game is. I once had a road comedy take over the awards 🤣🤣

And because that film got those high numbers, it did well. Most definitely possible, and props to the OC!
