I love every single film posted here, everymovie has a clever idea or a deep and intimate intention behind them.it is incredible how this imaginative community is being built and with so much to contribute. I did not know which movie to present publicly and I have decided on a melodrama in which it focuses on the strength of its main character. The life of a widowed mother who her main hobby becomes her best weapon against loneliness and mourning comes to life through this film starring by Katy Bathes. I have to admit that what started as a project to win the Oscar for best picture (Spoiler: A nostalgic version of La La Land snatched it the Oscar) ended up becoming a movie that came to conquer my heart and empathize with all those women who, despite adversity, manage to overcome difficulties. MY GARDENGenre/Subgenre: Drama/Melodrama Era: Present Day Setting: USA Topics: Gardening, loss, Motherhood and Tornados Plot Description: Karen is a widow who, since the death of her husband, has dedicates himself to keeping his garden the most beautiful in the neighborhood while devotedly caring for his quadriplegic daughter. The gardening is the only refuge that Karen has to continue fighting day by day but her greatest treasure will be threatened when a tornado approaches her house, her small-town will have to be evacuated but she will refuse to leave her home giving his life if need be. The garden as an allegory of her own life. Complete Cast List: [Actor Name as Role Name] Kathy Bates as Karen Dillon Michelle Williams as Annie Dillon Ralph Fiennes as Policeman Jayden Fleming Richard Madden as Doctor Harvey Gray Alex Laswther as Neighbor Elliot O´hara Box Office: 136.212.829 Awards: Golden Globes
Best Director: Alfonso Cuaron Nominee Best Supporting Actor- Motion Picture: Richard Madden Winner
Best Supporting Actress- Motion Picture: Michelle Williams Nominee Best Actress- Motion Picture Drama: Kathy Bates Winner
Best Motion Picture- Drama: My Garden Winner OscarBest Supporting Actor: Ralph Fiennes Nominee Best Supporting Actress: Michelle Williams Winner
Best Actress: Kathy Bates Nominee Best Picture: My Garden Nominee The Theme song of a movie could be Budapest of George Ezra by the song performed by Lasse Skriver
