Your wish is my command. some of you asked for a video showing of the game, especially the movie making process, so here you go:
Keep in mind that the version shown here is not ready for any kind of release yet (alpha or otherwise), so the UI is still a little rough around the edges. I hope you enjoy the video anyway.

Does Script points increase in the future?

Does Script points increase in the future? I don't think so. The mechanic is used to balance the script quality. Otherwise players could just max out all sliders and produce awesome scripts. This way you actually need to think what aspects should be most important in your movie, each genre (and sub-genre, although that part is not yet implemented) needs a different balance.

Wow! Looks great.
I love it. Can't wait to play. And to eventually see TV shows.
A few questions: Are small budget movies possible? Can indie movies rate highly with critics? I don't think budget should be a determining factor particularly with critics, should more be performances and script and director. Especially if it's a drama.

Also I'd love Andrew Haigh to be added! When you're ready you should totally open a Talent Database suggestion list. He's my fave writer/director haha But overall great work. Thank you for everything you are putting into this game.

I don't think budget should be a determining factor particularly with critics, should more be performances and script and director. Especially if it's a drama. Low Budget Movies are possible. If you want you can produce a movie for under 3 Million. The budget will influence the critics rating (because production quality is a thing), but other factors (like the script or the acting performances) are more important. Some genre however (Action, Fantasy, etc.) will get a hefty quality malus if the budgets for stunts and special effects are to small. So yes, it should be possible to produce a low budget indie movie that will do well with the critics, but it depends on the genre.

Will talent also be willing to take pay cuts if the project is a prestigious drama? Like a great scriptwriter and director? More likely to win an Oscar etc? I love starting as a small indie production company and expanding

Not pay cuts, but they are more willing to join the project. Although that depends on the person and their stats. And yes, of course they are also more likely to win (certain) awards.

Points? What points are you talking about? Anyway... no, directors, writers and actors get a salary.

Sometimes in films you can offer a percentage of the gross and/or profits if they are taking a lower salary. Ah, I get it now. No, that won't be in the game. I considered it, but the amount of work that would be need to put it into the game isn't worth the benefit, at least in my opinion.
