Brainstorming: Tv Show Plots

Since I'm currently making good progress I think it's time to work on the Database side of things.
If you have seen the preview pictures you already know that you can pick a main plot and up to two subplots for your tv show episodes. (These Episode Plots all come with a value 1-5 in the categories: Intelligence, Action, Humor, Relationships) and influence the success of your show. You will be able to add your own via editor, but I want to start with a good default list.

To give you an idea here are a few plots that are already in the game:

I think fantasy will be a genre on its own like with movies. Like you can pick between action, comedy and so forth. I think this will be more "What happens specifically in the episode"

Journey into the night - Think episodes like "Beard After Hours" (S2E9 in Ted Lasso) or "El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer" (S8E9 in The Simpsons)

Visit from the occult - Like how in Twin Peaks Dale Cooper got a visit from a giant

Seance - I'm thinking specifically about the seance scene from Hereditary tbh

Hustled - A character gets cheated out of something

Mental health - Like how in season 2 of Ted Lasso they talked quite a bit of each character dealing with panic attacks and such

Flashback - Kind of like how some episodes are made just to show one character's past in the middle of a season.

In the early 2000s you’d have these special episodes that were used to boost ratings.

-A main character’s death
-disaster episodes (Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives)
-Crossovers, still to this day are very popular, it could be fun to have characters from two shows crossing over and have it boost ratings a little bit.
-Backdoor pilot for a spinoff (like NCIS does for its spinoffs): Basically an episode of a show that introduces new characters for a spinoff.

I love the game btw and I can’t wait for the TV update 😁
