Good News! I solved the Database Connection Problem. My weekend is pretty busy, but expect the editor in the next 7-14 days.

Will the game have a time limit? Because I’m sure everyone would want it to go on forever or a long time as having a set number of years to play for really makes immersion less!

The game will have a time limit, probably somewhere between 20-40 years. Is that immersion breaking? I don't think I agree. I'm seeing it as playing through a career as a hollywood producer. At some point it ends, because you retire. One way or another... there are technical limitations. Keeping a database that large stable and balanced is already giving me a headache and the longer the game goes on the more difficult it becomes.

I think 40-50 years would be ideal if unlimited is not possible. Any updates on progress on TV shows

Nothing specific. I'm still trying to come up with a way to make it fun and different from movies, but not too micro-managy. The first version of the game will probably be released without Tv Shows, but nothing is set in stone.

This is similar to unlimited time in my opinion i did not like the time limit in hollywood movie studio it hurts when you create a great empire and you reach the time for it to be gone and start over maybe bieng able to continue the game as someone else lik ethe movie producer died and someone else is hired you can continue as the person hired.

Been playing around a lot. And I think, if possible, there should be a window for the Plot Synopsis and a Roledescription. By no means am I demanding it, I wanna make that point clear. It would, in my opinionm improve the experience. Here's why I think that.
As for the Plot Synopsis. Just to flesh it out a bit, really.
As for the Role-Description. This would help the players, to know what they are casting for.
In both cases, if nothing is written-in by the players, there could be generic versions created.
- In the case of Plot, some generic text, including the Plot Points selected (in a text), and the Genre. - In the case of Role, just the details selected (also via text).
Again, It's nothing that would break the game, if it's not there, and I have no experience programing, so I don't know how hard this would be to implement, but I strongly feel this would improve the game-experience.

I got a new question, regarding franchises. So, we already know, that if there's the same role, (named the same in a new project within a franchise), the game will recognize it, and ask us if we want to cast the previously cast actor.
If we accept, is it possible to change the naming of the role? In the Marvel Comics, it happens from time to time, that a character changes their alter-ego. Hawkeye became Ronin, Wolverine was Patch, Speedball became Penance etc. Will that be possible at all?

You can change the name of a role in the script writing phase. This will however break the connection, so the game will no longer suggest the last actor.
