Hi, I just started playing and realized that the TV Show options are locked off. Any idea as to when this will be available? It's on the top of the to-do list, but it's going to be a lot of work so at least a couple of months.

When you buy a script, how do you make a film with it? It seems to just go to the movies page where you can make it a franchise, but I don't see how you make the movie.

The script you bought should appear in your "in progress" movie list on the main screen /the one with the notebook, the tablet and the calendar). The notebook should show: "Movie Title" - Scriptwriting - Finished(in green font). Click on that entry and you should be lead right to the "Hire Director" Menu.

Ah so it does, thanks. btw really enjoying the game so far, it's already a lot of fun, can't wait to see what it'll be like in the future, with tv shows etc.

I have already fixed it, so it will no longer be an issue in the next version (by the end of the week). In the meantime try adding a second franchise. Switching between them should make the new movie show up as well.

Is there a penalty for using more script points?

Is there a penalty for using more script points? Wait, you shouldn't be able to that. Are you able to do that?

Yeah, I first noticed it when I got the Sherlock Holmes franchise, and it had -2 script points left, so i just continued and it let me. Then I went a couple over on a few other films, and they all did pretty well.

Click on the "library", then click on "movies", search for the movie you want to make a sequel, click on it, then click on the "create franchise" button. A cell phone window will appear, it is where you choose the franchise name

New version is up. 0.1.3 brings a couple of critical bug fixes and improvements and a new feature: Script Rewrites.
When you finish the script writing phase you will now be directed to the rewrite menu. There you can get an idea of your scripts quality. If you are happy with what you see you can greenlight the project and proceed to the production phase. If the script is not meeting your expectations you can demand a rewrite. You can either try to improve the overall quality of the script or improve a certain aspect of it. How much improvement you will see depend on your writer. However there is a chance that you meddling will actually bring the quality down, so think carefully. If your script is already decent you might want to go straight to production.
