What’s the rough date that the alpha will be released do you think?

Lol, you guys are worse than hollywood right now with your adaptions and reboots. It's a good thing I paid so much attention to that feature in the game, though. But honestly? No ideas for original IPs yet? Maybe that will come once you get your hands on the game. Have you used the editor? I basically need this information. Character Lists (with name, age and importance) are the hardest to research. It's kinds difficult to judge wether a character is a main character, support character or minor character without being familiar with the source material. Honestly that's probably how it's more or less going to be for me. I remember in Showtime i'd get random names and think of ideas for stories based on them. So far the only real ideas for original stuff I have is one based on an idea for a short story I wrote in high school and a story someone I knew wrote in middle school.

Q1 2020 still stands as my goal for alpha. No guarantees, as always, but right now things are going well. Some features on my to-do-list might not be included in the alpha, but I guess that's true for most alphas. The core game however is looking pretty good right now.

As for the age, that will be more of an estimate on my part, as they are mostly very coy about their characters ages. I will estimate their age, based on their behaviour. I will keep most Prices low, because there will be a lot. Since it is more important than to complete the entire thing on my part, I will focus on first Installments in an eventual Movie-Series, within the franchise. EDIT: I decided I will put most properties on Public Domain, and only put Values on the Bigger Properties, as to get the Franchise-Price to something that would be realistic...well kinda realistic, I really have no clue abpuy yhe their worth, any Guideline? EDIT EDIT: Also I will put the Eras down as Present Day, even if the comic was released in 1940. Only the ones that are clearly set during a defined time will get special eras assigned (when clearly set in the future of that franchise, or a Wild West Scenario, for example. EDIT EDIT EDIT: The Names used for the characters will be their best known Persona. For example a character may show up as Blind Justice even if he only showed up as Jerome Hamilton at that point in time in the comics. Or Maybe Hawkeye was Ronin an that point, but he will still be listed as Hawkeye.

That's the important part. I don#t need very Spiderman Storyline, just a "basse source" with the important character. People can then use this a basis for sequel, spin-off etc. to build a franchise/cinematic universe.
No, I just go by gut feeling, you can do the same. I can always edit/adjust the values if they unbalance the gameplay during testing.
Perfect.
Sounds good, I think? So far I always listed them as "Normal Name/ Superhero Name" for example "Peter Parker/Spider-Man".
Btw, your help with this is greatly appreciated!

Smoke some weed and get going...ahahah. Your naming convention is a good idea, will adapt that, with their Superhero-Alter Ego being the one I personally know them most for. Question: Will it be possible to cast the same actor within a Franchise in different roles? Asking because I'm already thinking about alternate Rality Versions of Characters, which would ideally be played by the same actor as the Main Dimensions Version.

I'm not familiar enough with what the game will be like for sure but here are a few ideas ...
A horror anthology series, along the lines of John Carpenter's original plan for Halloween.
A slow-paced science fiction along the lines of 2001: A Space Odyssey and Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
Some full-on slasher schlock with instalments well into the double digits (like the Amityville films and the Universal Monsters), a convoluted premise (like Friday the 13th), multiple reboots and separate continuities (like Halloween) and ugly duckling entries with re-purposed scripts (like Hellraiser).
On top of that I'd like to emulate the failure-to-launch style cinematic universes like Sony's Sinister Six plan, the Ghostbusters reboot, Universal's Dark Universe and the DCEU. That sort of stuff interests me more than the MCU.
In terms of adaptations, I'd really like to have a crack at getting Hellraiser and Candyman right because I'm a big Clive Barker fan and love the first film instalments of both of those (and bits of Hellraiser II & III). On the weirder side, I'd like to turn an episode of Doctor Who called Paradise Towers into a feature film.

With the release of the Alpha on the horizon I was wondering if you guys had any plans for movies (maybe even franchises?) you want to produce once you get your hands on the game? Tell me about them! I wanna do a live action Tintin series, and actually good Percy Jackson franchise adaptation, and possibly a superhero universe I've had in my head for a long time lmao.

I have continued Star Wars producing episodes 10 11 and 12 the first one I filmed in 2019 (2 years before I even planned to release it and the rest are gonna be filmed before the first one comes out likely XD) I also decided to reboot DC and Marvel however some actors kept their initial roles e.g Tom Holland as Spiderman and Gal Gadot as Wonder woman
