Thank you. Most of the main feature are in the game already, so I have no interesting new screenshots at the moment. Also work is still really, really bad, leaving me with really little free time and energy.

My work situation hasn't changed and I'm also dealing with some private life stuff. The game is about... 70% finished I would say. Most core features are established.

Thank you! I know it can be frustrating to wait for updates, I have been on the other side of this.
Believe me, you don't want this. At this point it's unplayable. The features might be in place, but all the number, factors etc. are rough placeholders. It needs balancing, but obviously I can only start this process once all the feature are in place.
Maybe I could make a little video again, showing you a bit of gameplay. I did this for the first version and I think you guys liked that. It won't show off much you haven't seen, since the new version is pretty close to the original build, but it still might be interesting for you to take a look.

Added the open audition Feature. If you can't find a good actor for a part, you can hold an open audition and the game will generate a list of newcomers (aka no acting credits yet) fitting the parameters of the role. This is especially useful for child roles (I try to add a decent number of child actors to the database, but obviously compared to the adults they are still underrepresented).

Just wondering, as I know the game will be starting from present day. But in the future, someone could want to start in a different year, so the game would need to know their birthday is to calculate their age.

But in the future, someone could want to start in a different year, so the game would need to know their birthday is to calculate their age. At the moment it's age, but I already considered changing it to birth year/date for that very reason. I'm bit afraid of the work that would take to change every singel entrance in the database though. Lot's of work for a relatively minor thing. And at the moment the starting date (2017)is hard coded anyway.

Good news, guys! I decided to tackle the most daunting task still on the to-do list... well, you can save and load the game now. I have never been happier I made the switch to unity. I remember struggling with this for weeks, if not months back when the game was still developed with visual studio. This time it only took me a couple of hours to set everything up (and I spent half of those hours fighting with the UI). This was the last major hurdle. Now it's only about adding a couple of smaller features and then refining, tweaking, polishing an balancing.
