Another Screenshot for today. Work in progress (The textbox in the lower left corner is a placeholder were a review text will go), but I though you still might be interested. I added a feature you requested a while ago: The star rating now gives you a idea which aspects of your movie were good or bad.

Hi bud! I was looking for Movie Tycoons to download and play when I stumbled upon a reddit user looking for the same thing too. Another user mentioned your game that is under development so I started reading some posts you made about it. I wanna say that your game looks very promising. I'm very excited about the fact that it is free! Keep it up! Looking forward to play this game as soon as it's released. 😁

AI Studios are back in business. Very early look, though. The numbers are basically place holders. The basic code to calculate revenue is in place, but I'll wait with balancing until I have franchises implemented (because obviously franchise popularity will have a heavy impact on revenue).

I like it! Can't wait to see more sneak peeks!

Started working on Source Material and Franchises! I'm still unsure about the button design. They kinda clash with the "Office Look" of the UI. I try to make the UI look as immersive as possible (Like when I redesigned the Message Box / Dialogue Box to look like a text message on a smartphone), but you still have to have some plain old buttons... Still... maybe a flat design would look less obtrusive?

No, not at this point.I don't want to add "empty choices" aka choices just for the sake of more choices that have no impact in the game. So if I would add this, I would also have to rewrite the code ti implement the effects choosing a certain editor etc. would have and I don't want to do that. I'm already fighting feature creep and frankly I don't think adding editors or costume designers would improve the gameplay by much. I'm sorry. I know you guys want as many details as possible, but I'm just one gal and I have a full time job and we all want this game to be finished before our grandkids go to college, so I have to draw the line somewhere.

After struggling with Unity's UI Layout I finally managed to (start to) rebuild the in-game database: I always loved this feature, because it feels kinds nice to just watch a simulated Hollywood happen in the background, so I'm glad it's back in the game now.

It would be nice to see also the results of the box office in this database.
